About Richard H. Dalrymple

Richard H. Dalrymple, III was born in 1966 in Redding, California. In 1989, Rich earned his undergraduate degree in English, with honors, from California State University, Sacramento. He then earned his single subject and multiple subject teaching credentials from California State University, Chico in 1991.

After teaching fourth and fifth grade for five years in Shasta County and Tehama County, Rich attended law school at University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Rich graduated from Hastings in 1998 and began practicing insurance defense, public entity defense and personal injury litigation in Redding, California.

Rich quickly developed a passion for representing injured individuals. He moved to Chico and now dedicates his practice entirely to representing injured individuals against the insurance industry. Rich has successfully recovered millions of dollars in compensatory damages for his clients through pre-litigation resolution, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and trial.

Rich maintains membership in a variety of professional associations, including the Shasta County Bar Association, the Butte County Bar Association, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Consumer Advocates of California. In addition, Rich is honored with an AV®Preeminent™ Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, an accomplishment which speaks to his extensive knowledge, skill, and success as an outstanding legal professional.

In his spare time, Rich enjoys cooking, watching movies, and playing competitive tennis. He is also an avid fan of English Premier League Soccer.
